It is officially just over a year since I made my big #LifeStyleChange and I have to say it feels great! It’s almost too hard to believe! Each month I see new changes, some good some bad. Some bad in the sense that I have a little too much bloating, or my body feels like it has had too many carbs, but in the round, there have been many good changes: a trimmer tum, tighter thighs, toned arms, better balance…the list is endless.
At the moment I am not exactly sure how much I weigh…☺️
I haven’t had the opportunity to check since I’ve been in Bwari but just like I said in my first post, its not so much about the weight you have lost but about how you look and feel.
Food, Glorious Food!
Currently, I am back home in Lagos so there have been quite a few adjustments. First of all I can cook! Yay! It’s been interesting being back in the kitchen after I’ve been away for such a while. I need to get my cooking and my health mojo back on check, so I’ve been trying to eat salads at home and sometimes when I’m out. You will also however see me not too far away from burgers and fries or cake and ice cream, its all about balance and I try to balance things out as best as I can.
By the way if you’ve ever been to Radisson Blu in Lagos, go check out their Texan Burger. It is heavenly. Finish off your lunch/dinner with dessert at Hans & René. They are a new spot that just opened up in the same place as Radisson. The staff are super friendly and the ice cream is lush. Tell them Georgie sent you!
I’ve been busy with exams and have been travelling to and fro since, so it has been hectic. However I have tried to push the workouts to once or twice a week now. I plan on increasing it to about three times a week and changing my workout regimen ever so slightly, with a focus on my mid-section and general cardio and toning rather than fat burn.
A Massive Thank You!
I hope you guys have enjoyed being on this journey with me! It’s been great hearing your stories and reading your messages. Your words of support and encouragement, questions about my process have been lovely. Thank you all! Please do not hesitate to comment or email me here.
