Some of you who have been around me: family and friends, have heard me talk about how much I love Dammy Krane’s song ‘Amin’.
No word of a lie, when I first came across the music video on YouTube, I shed a tear. It was so beautiful: the lyrics, the set, the natural and honest emotion that exuded from Dammy, I was just taken.
Check the video out below:
As much as I love ‘Amin’, (Dammy personally sang it to me - story for another day 😀), I am going to talk about Dammy’s album that came out late last year, Enterkraner.
In short, it is lovely.
To give you the highlights, there were the usual songs we already know, ‘Ligali’ ‘In Case of Incasity,’ ‘My Dear’ and ‘Sabi Dance’.
The album also had some really cute songs, such as ‘Tomorrow No Dey’ and ‘Love Na Die’ which had that romantic element. However, the real stars of the show were ‘Africa’ and ‘OTID’ featuring DJ Consequence and Ice Prince. I loved how emotional 'Africa' was and 'OTID’s' beat was just 💯.
A new club hit soon to make a name for Dammy is certainly ‘Gratitude,’ as soon as I heard it, my heart rate accelerated, I started to wind my waist and attempt a shoki. Haha! I hope you enjoy it! 😘
